TSA announced that travelers who violate the mask mandate could be fined $500 for the first offense.

The mandate was originally put into place via executive order in Jan. 2021.

Fines will now be $500 to $1,000 for the first offense and $1,000 to $3,000 for the second offense.

Beginning April 16th, 2022, Jamaica will no longer require visitors to take pre-COVID tests before coming to the island.

One of the first executive orders signed by President Joe Biden included a mandate requiring masks to be worn in airports on commercial aircraft and more.

There is not defined end date to Alaska Airlines’ mask policy.

Airliners around the U.S. are lifting mask mandates after a ruling on April 18th, 2022.

“Public health policy has to require that we’re in this together, especially in the airline industry where we cannot properly socially distance,” Nelson said.
