Dating to 1901, Moana Surfrider is famously known as the First Lady of Waikīkī, and this year, the historic property is getting a refresh, just in time for its 125th anniversary. With changes in store for the resort’s historic lobby, event spaces, guest rooms, penthouses and more, once completed, the property will stay true to its colonial-style Victorian architecture while boasting a fresh sense of refined elegance in the form of bright spaces and modern design. Regarding the timeline, renovations to Moana Surfrider’s historic lobby are already underway, and updates to the rest of the property are expected to take place through Winter 2025.

Following a comprehensive property-wide renovation and rebrand, The Westin Bora Bora Resort & Spa is officially open for business.
