Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Norwegian Bliss, will embark on its maiden voyage on June 2, 2018 and will sail to Alaska and the Caribbean with select voyages to the Mexican Riviera. Just like the cruise line’s other ships, the Norwegian Bliss is decked out with features and amenities to keep passengers entertained and having fun.
One of the most impressive features is the two-level electric car racetrack, which will be the largest competitive racetrack at sea. The coolest thing about the racetrack is that the cars are silent, so those looking to relax won’t be bothered.
The ship also boasts an open-air laser tag course. The course’s abandoned space station theme makes it the perfect activity for groups looking to be fully immersed in a new world.
Another impressive feature of the Bliss is its pool deck, which has two large pools and six infinity hot tubs. And of course, there have to be water slides. The Aqua Park has two multi-story waterslides, one of which jets out over the side of the ship for those brave enough. Those slides might be too much for kids though, so they can hang out at the Kids’ Aqua Park or the award-winning complimentary youth program, the Splash Academy. For passengers that want to take a break from all the sun and activity, they can visit one of the Mandara Spa’s thermal suites where they can calm aching muscles and joints in the Vitality Pool.
The brand-new ship offers passengers several dining options. From Italian cuisine at La Cucina to the Japanese hibachi steakhouse, Teppanyaki, there is no shortage of options. Passengers can head to the District Brew House to try one of the 24 beers on tap or to The Cellars, which features an extensive list of wines from the Michael Mondavi Family Estate.
