Known for its vibrant and diverse community, Visit Lauderdale is underscoring its commitment to social inclusion with the launch of its “No End to the Rainbows” social media campaign. According to Visit Lauderdale, the new initiative is designed to reaffirm Greater Fort Lauderdale’s “unwavering dedication to promoting inclusivity and welcoming ‘Everyone Under the Sun’” by spotlighting the stories, achievements and contributions of the destination’s local LGBTQ+ community.

Want to see what it’s all about? Those looking to get in on the action can visit the hashtag #EveryoneUndertheSun to share their pictures of majestic rainbows snapped in the Greater Fort Lauderdale region or to browse already existing posts, Reels and stories shared by travelers and the DMO. “Greater Fort Lauderdale has always been, and will always be, a place where everyone is welcome,” said Stacy Ritter, president and CEO of Visit Lauderdale. “We stand by our commitment to provide a welcoming experience for all travelers, including our LGBT+ community. Our doors are open, and we invite everyone to explore our beautiful destination and be part of our diverse and inclusive culture.”

To amplify its message, Visit Lauderdale plans to collaborate with local LGBTQ+ organizations and influencers throughout the duration of the campaign. At the end of the day, the DMO wants travelers to know Greater Fort Lauderdale is a premiere destination that celebrates diversity.

“The rainbow has become an emblem of the LGBT+ rights movement, celebrating identity and advocating for equality. It represents the beauty of diversity within the community and serves as a reminder to honor and respect all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity” said Richard Gray, senior vice president of inclusion and accessibility for Visit Lauderdale.
