Fam trips are the way for travel advisors to experience what they turn around and sell to their clients. I, personally, haven’t been on a fam trip because I’m part of VAX VacationAccess which is a neutral leisure marketplace, but I have experienced some site inspections throughout my travels and have observed the advisors in the act of sharing what they see, feel and experience in hopes of inspiring their clients to book with them.

I came across an article titled “New app aims to help agents share their fam trip experiences” that appears to be game changing for travel advisors that are spending time on fam trips. It seems two travel advisors developed an app that allows the ability to enter and store their information from the fam trip and easily put together reports and messages for their clients. They have varying pricing options as well.

I wonder if this isn’t something that could be converted to be utilized in some respect for clients too? Wouldn’t it be a wonderful way to put together snippets of memories and experiences on their trips? I guess that would take a little bit more of diving into a rabbit hole to determine the usefulness that way, but it sure begs the thought.

Isn’t it amazing what we can come up with when we use a bit of creativity along with some ingenuity? I hope for these advisors’ sake that this takes off and all of you have the opportunity to build your businesses a bit with the app My Fam Trip.
