The Travel Institute is currently running a promotion offering $150 scholarships for TRIPKIT, an entry-level program geared towards helping travel advisors kick-start their careers. It’s designed to offer a foundation and help advisors become familiar with the areas in this industry they need to be successful.

“As I look back at 2023, it stands out as a beacon of success in welcoming a wave of new talent into our industry. There is a palpable excitement among individuals to turn their passion for travel into a career. There is no doubt that this presents a great opportunity for our industry,” said Guida Botelho, sr. director of education, The Travel Institute, adding that with a growth in advisors comes the need for education.

With the wave of new advisors joining the travel industry, education is crucial now more than ever. And while there are many ways to learn about the industry (attending events, hearing from experts in the field, taking specialist courses), TRIPKIT is an ideal program for new advisors to take.

TRIPKIT is an in-depth, entry-level course that travel advisors can work through at their own pace. The curriculum is meant to prepare advisors to operate their own businesses and covers trip planning, marketing, and trips to increase profit.

The course includes 19 lessons, which take about 13 hours to complete, and focuses on three main pillars: Travel 101, Destination Geography and Business Acumen. From industry expert advice and insider insights to application-based activities, advisors have a chance to grow their knowledge throughout the experience.

“Our goal remains unwavering: to equip our future travel professionals with the tools and knowledge they need to excel. By the time they step into your offices or their own, they are primed to continue expanding their knowledge and driving sales,” said Botelho.

“Together, let’s pave the way for a new generation of travel professionals, armed not just with passion but with the expertise to elevate our industry to greater heights. It is our duty and responsibility to nurture these professionals.”

This is the first time The Travel Institute has offered $150 scholarships toward TRIPKIT, and the funds are limited. To secure your course for only $299, apply now.
