The Secret of Why This One Post Did Well

When I travel, I always like to go to the grocery stores: it is a cool way to experience local culture. On a road trip in the Midwest, we passed by a Piggly Wiggly. I'm from the Northeast; we don't have Piggly Wiggly stores. I had to go in and check it out.

We go to this one section of craft sodas and root beer, all very local to the area, and

I told my husband to take my picture with the cart. So here we are in the Piggly Wiggly in the middle of this aisle and taking a picture of me in front of soda.

I posted this picture with the caption,

When someone is seeing your posts and your face, they are forming a connection with you. People don’t book with a logo; they book with a person who they have come to trust. Your social media needs to be uniquely yours.

When I shared the fact that I love visiting grocery stores, I then invited them to share with me something they always tend to do when they travel. Not only am I sharing and being authentic, but I am also showing interest in them and having a conversation, being, you know, social.

They need to see YOU in what you're doing to take the leap and give you their deposit. As you post more content that shows your personality, how you travel and why you do what you do and invite them into conversation with you, you are connecting.

Connection leads to trust. Trust leads to leads. And well qualified leads bring you sales.

Here are three ways to show your personality … And always include a picture of yourself.

What do you do the night before an early flight?
How do you handle layovers?
