The only thing better than traveling around the globe is traveling around the globe from the comfort of a luxury train. Next fall, Railbookers, a leading company offering independent rail vacations, is treating travelers to just that with the return of its “Around the World by Luxury Train” vacation beginning Sept. 3, 2025. The once-in-a-lifetime journey will last 59 days and span four continents, 12 countries and 20+ coveted destinations.

Adding to the trip’s allure is the opportunity to travel aboard seven of the world’s top luxury trains including Rocky Mountaineer in Canada, Belmond Royal Scotsman in Scotland, La Dolce Vita Orient Express in Italy, Venice Simplon-Orient-Express throughout Europe, Rovos Rail in South Africa, The Maharajas’ Express in India and the Eastern & Oriental Express in Southeast Asia.

“When we created this one-of-a-kind journey a year ago, it was a response to the growing demand for luxury rail around the globe,” said Frank Marini, president & CEO of Railbookers Group. “We’re so excited to bring an exciting new itinerary to market for 2025 departures, and have already received hundreds of inquiries from travelers looking to cross these iconic rail adventures off their bucket list. Our 2025 Around the World by Luxury Rail itinerary has been refined and tailored to maximize our guests’ time and experiences while enjoying the culture, cuisine and activities that each of these renowned destinations have to offer.”

Beginning in Vancouver, vacationers will travel through the Canadian Rockies before continuing in Europe where they’ll explore historic spots in Scotland and Rome before enjoying the iconic scenery of Italy. From there, it’s off to Paris and Central Europe before arriving in Turkey where they’ll catch a flight to India to enjoy a multi-day cultural journey. A final air connection will then take guests to South Africa before the whirlwind adventure concludes in futuristic Singapore.

Also included in travelers’ bookings are top-tier accommodations, on and off-board, and incredible excursions planned for each destination — think private tours of ancient Roman sites, gourmet wine and cuisine pairings in South Africa and an afternoon spent at the Taj Mahal. In addition to relaxing in private luxury cabins on each train, travelers will enjoy stays at five-star luxury hotels in each city.
