On March 24, 2023, Paradisus by Meliá debuted its first-ever European resort, Paradisus Gran Canaria. The new hotel is located in Gran Canaria, the third largest of the Canary Islands, and one of the most popular tourist destinations in all of Spain.

Paradisus Gran Canaria features 297 rooms and suites which are available in a variety of categories including Nikté and The Reserve, a premium and upgraded experience respectively. Decor and design throughout the hotel were created in tandem with Álvaro Sans, a famous architect and the owner of ASAH. Each room at the new resort features a neutral and relaxing color palette to help visitors connect with the beauty of their surroundings. Additionally, natural elements and local art pieces are displayed throughout the hotel.

After pledging its commitment to sustainability, the bedding and amenities used at Paradisus Gran Canaria are 100% green meaning they are both recyclable and were created using environmentally friendly materials. Additionally, each product featured in the ensuite minibars was produced by a local artist.

And more exciting news is around the corner as Paradisus revealed its second European location, Paradisus Salinas, is slated to open in May 2023.
