With 50 properties in six countries, Palladium Hotel Group has a wide reach and a lot of guests to take care of. In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, Palladium announced that they are raising their health and hygiene standards to further protect guests and employees in preparation for the summer travel season.
In addition to following the guidelines and recommendations of the World Health Organization, Palladium is implementing new standards in all of their properties, such as:
- Providing hand sanitizer throughout the hotels, including in guest rooms
- Implementing temperature checks using infrared thermometers on Employees, suppliers, and Guests, especially in the entrance areas and closed spaces such as the restaurants, gymnasium, spa, children's area
- Enforcing social distancing, especially in areas more likely to have a high density of people like restaurants, the front desk area, pools and beaches
- Encouraging guests to make dining reservations in advance
- Establishing a maximum number of people allowed in bars and restaurants
- Implementing an “ozone and mist disinfection system” to purify the air
- Encouraging guests to use technology to check in and out online and to use Palladium’s app to view menus, make reservations
Palladium is also providing personal protective equipment and specific training to ensure they are following all safety, cleaning and disinfection regulations.
