Travel Show Marketing Group (TravelSMG), an independent organization dedicated to the B2B leisure vacation market, has recently announced updates on the 2023 Las Vegas Travel Agent Forum educational conference program, including tracks and classroom sessions along with current sponsor partners of its Discover Destination and Discover Product Series of sessions.

After two years at Caesars Las Vegas, the event returns to its home at Paris Hotel Casino from Friday, March 31 – Monday, April 3 and will attract upwards of 1,000 leisure travel sellers from across the United States. Travel agents in attendance represent a cross-section of experience levels and specializations who individually and collectively represent clients with varied interests.

“The Las Vegas Travel Agent Forum has become the most trusted event for the leisure travel agency channel. While the Forum is designed for the masses, we understand every sellers’ educational journey is different so it is important that we offer programs that speak to their individual business needs and professional development aspirations,” said Jennifer Fernandez, Senior Vice President Events & Content.

Educational Highlights include:

Travefy Accelerator

Taking place the afternoon of Friday, March 31, The Travefy Accelerator Academy, presented by Travefy is a three-hour series of topics designed to inspire and equip travel sellers with leading marketing and sales best practices along with tools to help supercharge business.

Educational Tracks

Travel advisors will have the chance to select from three unique tracks including Sales & Marketing; Agency Strategies; and Product and Niche Development. While tracks will help simplify the selection process, travel agents will have the flexibility to build their schedules and move freely to sessions that meet their needs. A complete list of sessions can be found here: travelagentforum.com/attendees/event-schedule.

Discover Destination and Product Sessions

The event will offer travel sellers the chance to become more familiar with destinations and products through its Discover Destination Series and Discover Product Series. Current Discover Destination Series sponsors include Visit Florida, Visit Anchorage, the Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) and the Israel Ministry of Tourism. Current Discover Product Session sponsors include VAX Vacation Access, Palace Resorts, Travel Planners International and Nature Horizons. Additional destinations and products will be announced shortly.

Las Vegas CVA and Partners

In addition to experiencing Las Vegas first-hand, participating agents will have the chance to learn more from the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority along with key partners during an interactive and fun-filled destination-focused session. As part of the Las Vegas experience, delegates will experience two unique evening events hosted by the Las Vegas CVA and host partner, Caesars Entertainment Resort & Casinos.

Tradeshow, Roundtable Sessions and One-to-One Meetings

The Forum will house upwards of 300 global destinations, travel providers and business resources on the tradeshow floor (April 2 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. and April 3 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.). In addition to the tradeshow, all participating travel sellers will have the chance to take part in the Roundtable Series which offers a fast-paced elevator pitch on a variety of products/services. Travel sellers that are part of the Travel Agent SELECT hosted program will also have the chance to conduct private One-to-One meetings with select participating travel suppliers. This opportunity is exclusive to SELECT agents and suppliers that opt for this opportunity.
