Growth is nothing new for Inclusive Collection, Part of World of Hyatt, and the resort group continues to reveal new hotels in a variety of locations. This year brings with it a handful of new resort openings to get excited about, and several of them are in popular vacation spots including the Dominican Republic and Mexico. Read on to see which ones recently opened and what’s coming this spring.

New Resorts in the Dominican Republic

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana

At the end of 2023, the 1,059-room family-friendly Sunscape Coco Punta Cana opened its doors in the Dominican Republic. Located in the town of Cabeza de Toro, this property rolls out the red carpet — literally — during a unique kid’s check-in experience. From there, guests can indulge in 12 different dining experiences, find adventure at Sunscape Coco, the launchpad for water sports, or simply relax poolside. Adults traveling without kids can appreciate the adults-only section with a casino and disco, the two adults-only pool areas and the Sunscape Spa by Pevonia.

Sunscape Dominicus La Romana

The opening of Sunscape Dominicus La Romana also came at the end of 2023. The 854-room family-friendly resort is located only 12 miles from La Romana International Airport and within close proximity to Saona Island, Catalina Island and Altos de Chavón. Guests of all ages are met with stunning ocean views and fun experiences, including movie nights on the beach. Among its many dining offerings is a restaurant overlooking the Caribbean Ocean.

Secrets Tides Punta Cana

Following shortly after these two Sunscape Resorts & Spas openings was the opening of Secrets Tides Punta Cana. This 688-room property opened in the Dominican Republic earlier this year, and is located along the beach in in Uvero Alto, Punta Cana. If leaving the kids at home is on the vacation agenda, a reservation at this adults-only resort is the way to go. Guests staying in any suite are treated to 24-hour room service, a private terrace or swim out area and an Unlimited-Luxury® experience from start to finish. Submerged in nature from the moment of arrival, this relaxing seaside haven immediately puts visitors at ease.

New Resorts in Mexico

Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres

Another adults-only option, Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres is nestled along the coast on a pristine stretch of white-sand beach near Isla Mujeres and Isla Contoy National Park. The property debuted in the Mexican Caribbean earlier this month boasting 507 luxury suites, each one furnished with locally sourced materials and handmade art. Guests have their choice of dining options, including six à la carte restaurants, one buffet, a grill and a café — in addition to a 24-hour room service menu. To top off the culinary experience, visitors are encouraged to participate in cooking classes and tequila or wine tastings.

Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlán Golf & Spa Resort — Coming Soon!

Heading over to the “Pearl of Mexico’s Pacific Coast,” Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlán Golf & Spa Resort is slated to open this spring. The family-friendly property will have activities for all ages, and every room will offer views of the Pacific Ocean. A stay in this location allows visitors to do it all — splash in the onsite waterpark, play a round at the nearby professional golf course, explore the historic downtown area — or nothing at all. Days spent poolside soaking up the sun are just as memorable.
