When people hear the term “all-inclusive,” they usually think about a resort strategically placed on a beach with unlimited meals available at any moment and endless cocktails enjoyed by the pool. Tropical destinations have stolen the show when it comes to this all-encompassing type of vacation.

However, those travelers in search of a wintery adventure can still get in on the all-inclusive concept. While Club Med has several resorts to choose from in the sunny locales, the company also has more than 20 mountain resorts that offer an all-inclusive ski vacation experience in the winter months.

Your All-Inclusive Ski Trip Awaits

Not only are the accommodations conveniently located near the slopes, but there are so many additional inclusions when visiting a Club Med property. Guests are treated to locally inspired cuisine, lift tickets, ski lessons for all levels, children’s clubs for guests as young as four months and up to age 17 and plenty of shows and entertainment.

Club Med takes the stress out of planning so travelers can focus on the fun parts of vacation prep. It’s really a one-stop-shop type of trip from start to finish. Prior to arrival, guests can log in to their “My Club Med” account and reserve equipment (which will then be waiting in their locker), register the kids for a children’s club and sign up for ski and snowboard lessons.

Not to worry if there are members of the group not interested in spending all their time on the slopes – these mountain resorts offer several other activities to choose from. Other wintery activities include snowshoeing, skating and sledding, and guests can also head indoors to try yoga or spinning class or visit the spa for a relaxing treatment.

Where To Find These Mountain Resorts

The majority of these mountain resorts are located in the French Alps, but there are also properties in the Swiss and Italian Alps, as well as in Japan and China. Club Med’s first all-inclusive mountain resort in North America opened in Quebec, Canada in 2021, and the company also announced plans to expand this concept into the United States.

“Club Med is known for pioneering new destinations, and we are eager to introduce Snowbasin to travelers as well as bring the very first luxury all-inclusive mountain resort in the U.S.,” Carolyne Doyon, President and CEO of Club Med North America and the Caribbean, said during the initial announcement of the Utah property. “Continuing our 70-year legacy, Club Med Utah will give travelers additional opportunities to discover Utah’s natural beauty and welcoming communities through a transformative mountain getaway experience.”
