Destination Weddings With Hilton All-Inclusive Resorts

Love is in the air, and warm weather destinations are calling. Luckily for travelers hoping to tie the knot in a land far, far away, there are many exciting options to choose from. Of course, behind many amazing destination weddings are hard working travel advisors who help in planning their clients’ big days from start to the moment they say, “I do.”

To help advisors and travelers narrow down the search for the perfect venue, we chatted with Hilton All-Inclusive Resorts' senior manager of destination weddings & celebrations, Gina Johnson, to get to know their destination wedding offerings.

Q: Why do the Hilton All-Inclusive resorts make great options for destination weddings?

A: Hilton All-Inclusive resorts provide a seamless and luxurious experience for couples and their guests. With stunning locations, world-class amenities, and dedicated wedding planning services, we ensure that every detail is tailored to create unforgettable destination weddings. The all-inclusive nature simplifies the planning process and offers convenience and value for couples and their guests.

Q: How many weddings do these properties do per day?

A: The focus is always on providing personalized attention to each wedding, ensuring a unique and memorable celebration for every couple. Based on this philosophy, we only allow one wedding per day at the Hilton Tulum, Hilton Cancun, Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe, and Hilton Vallarta Riviera so we can focus on the couple and their guests, ensuring a special day.

Q: How many rooms are considered a group?

A: For contracted groups, a minimum of 10 rooms for a 3-night stay is required, and securing the group is made easy with our attractive low deposit of $100 per room. Additionally, we offer a flexible group option, allowing rooms to be booked in the traditional FIT manner. A rooming list is required 45 days before travel on FIT groups, and once verified, standard comps will be granted.

Regardless of whether a group opts for a contracted or flex group, the opportunity to earn up to 5 complimentary rooms is extended. For reservations made between January 7 and April 17, 2024, groups can enjoy 1 complimentary room for every 12 rooms booked. From April 18 to December 21, 2024, 1 complimentary room is offered for every 7 paid rooms, with some blackout dates applying to this exceptional offer.

Q: Can you share details on the wedding packages? What is the average cost? Do you offer complimentary wedding packages? Do advisors receive commission on the wedding packages?

A: Hilton All-Inclusive offers four distinct wedding packages. Our Signature package includes everything a couple needs for a simple but elegant affair, including the wedding and a cocktail reception afterward. Our Devotion package goes a step further and includes the ceremony, cocktail hour, 3-hour private reception, and much more. Our Cherished package builds upon the Devotion package by incorporating enhancements such as a 4-hour reception, DJ, a dance floor, fountain fireworks, and rehearsal dinner. Our Cherished Captured combines the Cherished offerings with inclusive photography services.

The average cost can vary based on factors such as the location, package inclusions, and guest count. Detailed pricing can be found on the Hilton All-Inclusive VAX landing page. We do pay travel advisors 10% commission on wedding packages. To receive this commission, we do require them to be the first point of contact on the wedding, and they are included in the couple's wedding contract. After that, our wedding teams work with the couple to plan every detail of their dream wedding.

Q: Do you have any unique venue options to share? What is one of your favorite venues/resorts for weddings?

A: Our resorts offer diverse, unique, and picturesque wedding venues, ranging from beachfront settings and rooftop terraces to elegant ballrooms. Noteworthy options include the lobby terrace at the Hilton Cancun, offering oceanfront views without the need for sandy toes, and the beach club venue at the Hilton Vallarta Riviera, featuring an expansive private beach area with panoramic views of the Pacific. These are just a glimpse of our resorts' many outstanding venues—settling on just one favorite is challenging. Whichever venue couples choose, we strive to consistently deliver magical wedding experiences.
