On December 12, 2023, luxury cruise line Cunard opened bookings for its 2025 Alaska season aboard the Queen Elizabeth, a grand 2,081-passenger ship with lavish art deco decor and contemporary attractions. The highly anticipated season will take place from June 12 through September 25, 2025, and will feature 11 roundtrip voyages from Seattle ranging from seven to 11 nights.
In tandem with The Great North’s incredible scenery, the new lineup of sailings promises to fully immerse guests in the Alaskan experience thanks to Alaska Native Voices onboard, a Cultural Heritage Guide and an on-staff Naturalist with live deck commentary. Plus, with a wide variety of activities — both onboard and onshore —, Cunard’s 2025 Alaska voyages have something for every type of traveler.
“We are incredibly excited to offer guests the new opportunity of sailing roundtrip into Alaska from Seattle,” said Katie McAlister, president of Cunard. “Due to strong guest demand, Cunard is offering a full summer season in Alaska, allowing travelers to delve into the region’s wildlife and visit extraordinary cities, with extended time in port to fully appreciate this captivating destination.”

Of course, what better way is there to experience a destination than by sampling the local cuisine? To further dive into authentic Alaskan culture, sailors will be treated to dishes crafted from indigenous flavors from land and sea resulting in a dining experience that perfectly pairs with the region’s Insta-worthy scenery, complete with a glacial-inspired cocktail menu.
And the exploration won’t stop in destination, throughout the season, Cunard will host legendary mountaineer Kenton Cool, fearless polar skier Preet Chandi and acclaimed wildlife filmmaker Doug Allen to share stories of their heroic feats in a series of educational programming unique to the cruise line.
