Bimini Beach Club is the last stop before sailing home to Miami on Virgin Voyages’ Scarlet Lady. There are many activities planned for and enjoyed by the sailors on the cruise. Floatie party, amazing food, wonderful drinks and of course a beautiful beach and pools to cool off in. I had heard from many that this was a stop to look forward to!

The day we arrived the weather was not anything we’d look for on a beach or pool day. We did enjoy the sunshine as we woke and as we ate breakfast, we watched the weather come in with a vengeance. There was sideways rain, two rain spouts (what I call rain tornadoes) along with thunder and lightning. We decided it was a good day to enjoy the game area of the ship and play Sequence for a bit. At about 1:30, the rain stopped, and we decided we needed to venture off the ship to check out the Beach Club.

When you disembark, take your ID and there are towels available to take with you. I will let you know there are plenty of towels at the Beach Club as well so really no need to carry them all around. There is a tram service that will take you to the beach club. It does make a stop so if you are interested in renting a golf cart to explore you can get off at that point. It then continues to the Beach Club.

When you arrive there is a bar immediately available to help you get your drink on, both alcoholic and non. We were ready for lunch, so we immediately headed to the left and grabbed some food. The food was delicious and not like anything you got onboard. It appears there are two different sets of offerings based on the time of day. When we arrived there was chicken curry, coconut covered sweet corn, fruit and rum cake. By the time we were finishing up they had change to ribs and pumpkin hummus. We of course had to try it all and would’ve been sad if we had missed any of it!

The beach was a bit of a mess, likely because we cruised right after hurricane Ian. There were amazing shells and conchs that people were collecting. I had picked up a beautiful white conch and someone rushed up to tell me we couldn’t take them. I hadn’t planned to, was just enjoying it, but it did get scooped up by someone later. Who knows if they got away, but that person had a whole bag of amazing finds.

There wasn’t much activity the day we were there, but it was pleasant to walk the beach and eventually dip in the pool while we enjoyed a beverage. There were showers to clean off before returning to the ship and places to return all used towels as well. I would consider it a delightful day considering it wasn’t too hot and we enjoyed comfortable temperatures due to the lack of sun.

We boarded the tram to return to the ship, scanned our room key with our wrist band, scanned our bag and returned to our room to continue enjoying our last day on the lovely Scarlet Lady.
