Helping advisors sell independent travel through the off-season, Avanti Destinations has recently launched this year’s Go365 campaign with a focus on winter activities and wellness experiences in both cold and warm environments.
Recommendations for destinations, lodging accommodations and add-on experiences have been compiled into a 50-page e-brochure, an ideal resource for advisors to share with their clients. While the brochure is certainly jam-packed with information, the abundance of suggestions means that advisors can better provide customized itineraries. Here’s a peek into all the available information.
- Destinations: The brochure covers 28 countries, with nearly half in Europe and the UK. Other options include Central and South America, North Africa, the Middle East, Asia and the South Pacific.
- Accommodations: Providing 35 suggestions for hotels, resorts and other nontraditional lodging styles, travelers can choose from four-star, four-star plus or five-star properties.
- Add-on experiences: Including over 28 recommendations, travelers can mix and match between private, shared, small group and self-guided activities. Take a group for a fat-tire winter biking tour near Rovaniemi, Finland, or embark on a Northern Lights adventure from Reykjavik, Iceland. Indulge in private experiences like a medicinal herb market in Seoul, South Korea; high tea and spa time in Bali; or a snow monkey park tour near Obuse, Japan. It’s winter after all, so don’t forget about Christmas markets in magical destinations such as Germany, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Denmark, England, Iceland, Portugal and Switzerland.
“Off season is the ideal time to go to Europe and the UK,” said Gina Bang, Avanti’s chief sales and marketing officer. “There are fewer tourists, a less crowded, more relaxed, and a more authentic atmosphere, less waiting in line for popular attractions, greater availability of private guides and many special winter events and activities like Christmas markets, winter sports, and the Northern Lights.”
