Come on, Barbie, let’s go party at Atlantis Paradise Island! Mattel, looking to celebrate Barbie’s 65th anniversary from earlier this month, has partnered with the resort to bring an immersive experience to the Bahamas for the first time in history.
Set to open Memorial Day weekend and operating for the entirety of the summer, Barbie Bahamas Beach Vacation: Where Atlantis Dreams Come True is located in the beating heart of the resort, The Royal, and is set against the backdrop of the largest open-air marine habitat in the world. The attraction features Instagrammable vignettes, activity stations, a pink carpet, Barbie ball pit and even themed, life-sized doll boxes for photo opportunities. Plus, visitors may just be able to sneak a peek of real-life mermaids with the many portholes located throughout the attraction.
Atlantis Paradise Island is also offering themed guestrooms, suites and beachside cabanas with unique design elements incorporated into the décor, from pink pillows and throw blankets to customized chaise lounge chair cushions.
Other activities and attractions at this pink paradise include:
- Themed cooking classes and activations for kids.
- Complimentary Barbie movie nights poolside and in the Atlantis Theater.
- A redesigned Sun & Ice café with themed décor and a corresponding menu featuring desserts, mocktails and cocktails.
“What makes the Barbie Bahamas Beach Vacation: Where Atlantis Dreams Come True special, is that it is meant to be enjoyed by all generations and will offer a range of accessible experiences,” said Audrey Oswell, President and Managing Director of Atlantis Paradise Island. “We are a resort that has a long history of delivering unforgettable experiences to our guests, and firsts to the Bahamas. Barbie fits that bill.”
