AMResorts is now offering on-site antigen testing at no cost to guests at their two properties in Costa Rica: Secrets Papagayo Costa Rica and Dreams Las Mareas Costa Rica. They began offering the tests in late February to guests traveling back to the U.S., U.K., Germany and Poland. A minimum stay of three nights is required to qualify for the complimentary testing.
The testing is part of AMResorts’ CleanComplete+ program, which also includes extended quarantine stay coverage, if needed, at no cost to guests traveling to the U.S. CleanComplete+ is part of the brand’s CleanComplete™ Verification practices, a 360-degree quality, safety and hygiene system backed by the highest-level third-party certification and will further elevate the standards of quality and cleanliness in all of the resorts, launched by the resort brand last summer.
In October 2020, Costa Rica updated their entry requirements so that travelers to the Central American country no longer need to present a RT-PCR diagnostic test with a negative result for COVID-19 in order to enter. Travelers do need to fill out a digital Health Pass form and show proof of health insurance to gain entry to the country.
AMResorts now has 50 properties open and all 54 properties in their collection will be open again by June 1.
