From the flight to the hotel, and the activities in between, travel agents have a lot of say in their clients’ vacations. But, let’s face it – there are some things that they can’t control, like bad weather or technical issues that leave their clients waiting in the airport for hours on end when they should have been on the beach. Fortunately, if clients are flying on Delta or American Airlines, they will have more options to help them reach their destination. CNN reported that the two airlines recently formed an agreement that will allow passengers to be re-booked on the other carrier’s flights in an effort to help stranded passengers get out of the airport and to their destination as quickly as possible. It’s reassuring for travel agents to know that while some things are out of their control, airlines are working together to get passengers where they want to go.
