Time to get your passport renewed – American Airlines recently announced an expanded international presence with service to Casablanca, Morocco, a new destination for the airline, starting June 4, 2020.

"Our customers and team members have been asking when we’re going to start service to Africa, and I couldn’t be more pleased to make this announcement for service beginning in 2020," said Vasu Raja, American's Vice President of Network and Schedule Planning.

The announcement also outlines a return to Tel Aviv, flying out of the Dallas-Ft. Worth hub three times a week, and three new eastern European destinations: Krakow, Poland; Budapest, Hungary; and Prague, Czech Republic. Here’s a quick breakdown of the new routes, all beginning in 2020:

  • Philadelphia (PHL) to Casablanca, Morocco (CMN) beginning June 4
  • Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) to Tel Aviv, Israel (TLV) beginning Sept. 9
  • Chicago (ORD) to Krakow, Poland (KRK) beginning May 7
  • ORD to Budapest, Hungary (BUD) beginning May 7
  • ORD to Prague, Czech Republic (PRG) beginning May 8
