ALG Vacations® (ALGV) has released its Exclusive Nonstop Vacation Flight (ENVF) schedule for 2024 with more than 350,000 seats, new routes and new carriers such as Aveo and GlobalX. Additionally, new enhancements to Travel Protection Plus (TPP) became effective earlier this year for the ALGV brands.
In 2024, Apple Vacations, Funjet Vacations and Travel Impressions are offering Exclusive Nonstop Vacation Flights from thirteen U.S. origins to a variety of destinations including Cancun, Cozumel, Huatulco, Ixtapa, Los Cabos, Montego Bay, Puerto Vallarta and Punta Cana. ENVF schedules are selected with vacationers in mind, which means better flight times that allow for more time at the beach or poolside. ALG Vacations also added new routes like Cleveland to Jamaica and Cincinnati to Los Cabos, and expects to release its 2025 ENVF schedule via Frontier later this month. Exclusive Nonstop Vacation Flights have special values and rates, so travelers can get the most out of their trip from start to finish. This year, offering even more seating, new routes and enhanced protection, ALGV expands on its goal to get vacationers there faster and stay there longer.
“Unlike traditional charters, our ENVFs can be full flights or seat blocks to the most desirable vacation destinations,” said Jacki Marks, ALGV’s Global Head of Trade Brands. “Through extensive market research each year, we ensure we are offering the most in-demand flights and are competitive with existing scheduled airlines and their routes.”
Right now, ALG Vacations is offering an exciting deal for kids to fly, stay, play and eat from $199. This offer is available for new bookings on select Exclusive Nonstop Vacation Flights and hotel packages from select origins to Cancun and Punta Cana made now until 4/4/24 for travel through 12/15/24. Deals are available from gateways nationwide for all lengths of stay. For more information on spring break savings, visit algvacations.com.
Enhancements to ALGV’s industry-leading Travel Protection Plus (TPP) coverage became effective 1/11/24 for Apple Vacations, Funjet Vacations, Travel Impressions, Blue Sky Tours, and United Vacations®; as well as for Southwest Vacations’ Travel Protection. To better protect travelers from flight disruptions, ALGV has doubled the Missed Connection coverage from $500 to $1,000 per person. This benefit provides reimbursement for flight cancellations and delays of 3+ hours on nonstop and connecting flights, including ENVFs, due to certain circumstances including inclement weather.
“Customers affected by such delays or canceled flights can book an alternative flight on their choice of airlines on their own, notify our During Travel Team, and file a claim with Trip Mate upon their return,” Marks said. “With the coverage increase, the Missed Connection benefit is more likely to cover the cost of the new airfare and may also be put toward missed nights in resort, providing even greater value to travelers,” she added.
While doubling the Missed Connection coverage, ALGV decreased Trip Delay coverage from $3,000 to $1,000 per person, as 99% of 2023 Trip Delay claims were under $1,000. Trip Delay reimburses for expenses such as meals, lodging and local transportation for delays of 6+ hours.
ALGV’s Travel Protection Plus program provides great value to the customer with its travel credit and cash refund options. Benefits include change/cancel for any reason, commission protection up to $200 per room, lower deposits, hurricane travel credit, a price guarantee, and comprehensive post-departure insurance.
