In a recent poll, we asked VAX VacationAccess users what type of adults-only travel they are booking. Several respondents picked the Groups, Party/Nightlife and Spa/Wellness categories, but the most popular answer chosen at 32% was Honeymoons/Anniversaries.
With so many advisors booking honeymoons, and so many hotels to choose from, we wanted to figure out which resorts are most popular to send honeymoon clients to. In a follow-up poll, we asked, “What’s your favorite resort to send your honeymoon clients to?”
Sandals Resorts took the top spot, followed closely by Secrets Resorts & Spas. Other brands mentioned were Couples, Valentin, El Dorado, Excellence and Iberostar. Some advisors answered with destinations instead of a resort, and among these answers were Maldives, Bahamas, Jamaica and Riviera Maya.

Couples Negril
One of four Couples Resorts properties in Jamaica, Couples Negril is located on the world-famous Seven Mile Beach, which means honeymooners are met with a relaxed atmosphere and calm, clear water. The resort has options for guests to mix and mingle or relax in private. Whether it’s booking a spa treatment in a treehouse spa or embarking on an excursion around the island, there’s something for everyone during a stay at Couples Negril.
Atelier Playa Mujeres
Inspired by Mexican art and surrounded by natural landscapes, couples can exhale stress and breathe in relaxation when honeymooning at Atelier Playa Mujeres. Luxury is the name of the game here, and despite its size, each guest is pampered with top-notch service. With modern accommodations, an array of dining options and a must-visit spa, honeymooners will depart this property ready to book their next visit.

All of these resorts are great options that I highly recommend. I have stayed at a few and there are other agents within my agency that have been to ALL of these resorts!
