What if there was a place you could go in Mexico to learn all about the history, the culture and everything else that makes this destination so unique, a place that celebrates the various traditions around the country in one spot, a place that serves authentic Mexican cuisine?

Well, there is a place that invites travelers to immerse themselves in all this and so much more – it’s called Hoteles Xcaret.

Located in Riviera Maya, Mexico, Hoteles Xcaret consists of three unique properties: La Casa de la Playa, Hotel Xcaret Arte and Hotel Xcaret Mexico. While some parallel features are found at all three hotels, each one has its own unique distinctions.

La Casa de la Playa

With only 63 suites, this adults-only boutique property gives each guest plenty of room to call their own. A number of suite options, each with its own personality, are divided into three buildings: Natural, Fiesta and Wellness. Room features throughout the categories include private heated pools, volcanic rock bathtubs, hammocks and, in some cases, direct access to a double massage cabin.

Warm, inviting spaces are located throughout La Casa de la Playa, some of which include Chocolatería, a candy boutique paying tribute to cacao; Biblioteca, where guests can enjoy a good story paired with a gourmet coffee; Cava, which houses an exclusive selection of wines. Guests also have access to a 40-meter infinity pool.

While visitors might wonder why they’d ever need to leave this stunning property, a stay at La Casa de la Playa includes several tailor-made experiences nearby. Some of these inspiring opportunities include a Purification and New Being Ceremony at Xel-Há and a backstage tour of The Gran Tlachco Theater, followed by dinner and a show.

Hotel Xcaret Arte

Paying tribute to the best Mexican artists, with unique artistic details prevalent throughout the property, Hotel Xcaret Arte inspires guests to unleash their creative sides. The property has 900 suites and welcomes adults and young adults who are 16 years or older.

The hotel is made up of six casas (or houses), each with a different theme: Casa del Diseño, Casa de la Pirámide, Casa de la Música, Casa de la Paz, Casa del Patrón and Casa de los Artistas, which has services exclusive to guests staying in the building such as access to Kibi Kibi restaurant, a gym and a library.

Visitors staying at Hotel Xcaret Arte are immersed in creativity at every turn, and each building has a workshop where they are able to participate in a craft. The workshops include weaving, painting, pottery, dancing and literature. And anyone who looks hard enough might even come across a speakeasy right on property.

Hotel Xcaret Mexico

Those traveling with children also have an opportunity to get in on the fun by choosing to stay at Hotel Xcaret Mexico. This was Hoteles Xcaret’s first property, and it was created as a tribute to both Mayan and Mexican culture. The hotel has 900 suites and welcomes guests of all ages.

Hotel Xcaret Mexico’s five buildings pay homage to five important Mayan elements: Earth, Fire, Spiral, Wind and Water. Guests can choose to stay in Casa Tierra, Casa Fuego, Casa Espiral, Casa Viento or Casa Agua.

There are a host of activities at this hotel catering to guests of all ages. From water sports and tennis to a kids club and family club, each family member is sure to find something of interest.

Not only do these hotels showcase the best of Mexico’s cuisine throughout all the restaurants and offer one-of-a-kind treatments at the Muluk Spas, but guests also can choose to enjoy several included excursions around the area.

Round-trip airport transportation is included in a stay as well as unlimited access and transportation to and from Grupo Xcaret’s parks and tours: Xcaret, Xel-Há, Xplor, Xplor Fuego, Xavage, Xoximilco, Xenses and Xenotes. Ocean lovers will be thrilled to know the latest inclusions to the All-Fun Inclusive concept are Veleo Xailing and Xcaret Xailing.
