Advertising/Marketing Campaign – VAX May Madness

It’s been a long road to recovery but 2021 showed to be an optimistic year. To keep up the momentum, VAX ran our annual May Madness campaign to show travel advisors some love during Travel Advisor Appreciation month. VAX ran a four-week interactive campaign consisting of four mini learning games. We had one sponsor each week giving advisors a new chance to win a supplier prize each week. Answers to the mini learning games could be found throughout the site, driving advisors to explore the site and learn about suppliers. Each week advisors were able to submit their answers to be entered for a chance to win that week’s prize. Travel advisors learned a lot and had four opportunities to be rewarded.

Campaign highlights

  • For four consecutive weeks, advisors had a new chance to play and win.
  • Over $4,300 in prizes were awarded.
  • We had 1,997 learning game submissions.
  • Sponsors were able to feature questions they felt most relevant, from free on-site COVID testing, hotel features and more.
  • The timing of the campaign was complimentary to Travel Advisor Appreciation month giving advisors a fun, interactive activity each week.
  • VAX received positive feedback from travel advisors.
